These water soluble packets are a premium blend of 8 different strains of naturally occuring bacteria specifically selected to quickly digest organic muck. This Bio Blend comes packaged in 1/2 ounce water soluble packets that contain more than 56 billion colony forming bacteria in each packet. Unlike many other Pond Bacteria products on the market today, this product is specifically geared for reducing algae by removing nitrates and phosphates.
This product is best used early in the spring and in the fall. It is also good to replenish beneficial bacteria after putting down copper based products. Note: Wait 48 hours after copper application before use.
Use at a rate of 12 packets per acre for maintenance. Heavy build up or older ponds require 24 to 36 packets per acre. This will remove muck build up.
